Five tasty treats to make your four-legged friend happy this Christmas

Is it too early to be thinking about Christmas? We are already getting excited across at the Betty Miller HQ. The orders are coming in from customers wanting to get their four-legged friends a tasty treat and we are getting lots of questions about which treats we would recommend for a festive feast. What's more, this weekend  we have 20% off any treats from our range, using code EARLYCHRISTMAS so it's the perfect time to stock up ahead of the big day. Just check out our online shop and make sure you enter the code at the check out.

So we thought we would compile our top five:

1/ Duck and orange Crunchy Mini Bones

So often nowadays, us humans have enjoyed many a festive feast by the time it gets to December 25th and turkey can become a little boring. Our pooches are no different and sometimes want something a little different too. Our duck and orange crunchy mini bones are a perfect mix of savoury and sweet to make any dog’s Christmas day a happy one. These treats come in wheat free and grain free varieties, making them perfect for those with a tummy sensitive to wheat.

2/ Cheese little bones or cheese big bones

(Almost) everyone loves a cheese course, including dogs! Our cheese little bones and big bones are perfect for your pooch to enjoy alongside your cheese course. These treats come in our standard recipe, as well as grain free so they will fit the bill for any pup on a grain free diet too.

3/ Charcoal bones and little bones

Sometimes we over indulge on Christmas Day and our dogs are no different. Our Charcoal Little Bones will help to keep any nasty doggy digestive smells at bay after they indulge in their Christmas lunch.

4/Betty’s pocket (or stocking) size range of functional treats

If you are looking for something to add to your dog’s Christmas stocking, our pocket sized range is just perfect. Available in 100 gram packs and in six different flavours, there’s bound to be a treat that will suit your dog. Fussy Dog made with salmon, fenugreek and aniseed oil, proves popular with even the most discerning dog, while Good Dog made with liver and carob often acts as a good training treat for well behaved dogs, as well as though who can be little rascals! For the puppies in your life we have a Puppy Dog treat which is made with highly digestible protein – making it perfect for the youngest of pups. The peppermint and charcoal in our Whiffy Dog treat is ideal for those dogs who sometimes become a little smelly, while chilled dog with its calming blend of herbs and aromas will help dogs to have a relaxed and chilled out Christmas.

5/ Betty’s Big Biscuits

What does every big dog need for Christmas? How about a biscuit as big as they are? Ok, so maybe they aren’t quite as big as the big dogs among us are, but they measure up pretty big in comparison to other treats out there. Available in liver, cheese and meaty flavour, these treats are ideal for dogs on the large side who would wolf down a standard size treat in seconds.
